About Stone Harbor

Stone harbor is at the southern tip of "Seven Mile Island" the other part comprising

of Avalon, NJ, in order to get to cape may, for example one must go down Stone

Harbor Blvd and then either get on the parkway south. Our recommendation would be not to do that if you have some extra time, take Ocean drive from the southern tip of Stone Harbor- this will take you into Wildwood and the eventually into Cape May.

It is an enjoyable drive about 25-45 minutes depending on traffic - in fact, we

recommend taking a longer drive on Ocean Drive - it's good sightseeing ! Here is a

Stone Harbor Attractions

Not mentioned online often - the small charming shops of Stone Harbor await you- miniature golf and old fashioned arcade, art galleries, there is even a Kohr Bros. Ice cream shop . At nighttime -downtown takes on an especially busy, energetic vibe as visitors and residents promenade in and out of shops and mom and pop restaurants - socializing and having a good time.

Downtown Stone Harbor seems to become the towns surrogate boardwalk as Stone Harbor does not have a boardwalk. but if you would like to see a great one-there is a huge one not far in adjacent Wildwood, NJ.

Their boardwalk is 38 blocks long ( roughly 3.8 miles) who needs to get on and off and wait for a tram car- you 'll have your own Scooter from busy bee mobility - by the way we deliver and pick up from you when you are finished. In the unlikely event - if you get a flat tire or anything, we will come out and quickly fix or replace the scooter.

Atlantic City casinos are not far from Stone Harbor either- about 45 minutes. the length of the Atlantic City's famous Boardwalk is just over 4 miles.- but it is a must see here is a link to our Atlantic City Site
